Stock up your parts drawers with a handy mix of general-purpose transistors for prototyping, repairs and everyday circuit building. Transistors are core components in modern electronics, used for tasks such as switching a simple LED or amplifying an audio signal.
This kit includes five 2N3904 NPN transistors and five 2N3906 PNP transistors. The 2N3904 is suited to low-power switching and amplification with a positive control signal, while the complementary 2N3906 performs similar jobs with a negative control signal.
Having both NPN and PNP devices on hand makes it easier to experiment with a wide range of circuit designs and keeps your workbench ready for quick prototypes.
