A high-density side-emitting NeoPixel strip with 120 individually addressable RGB LEDs per metre on a flexible black PCB. Unlike standard NeoPixel strips that emit light upward, these side-light LEDs emit at 90 degrees — perfect for accent lighting along thin edges, curves, and corners.
The skinny form factor allows these strips to run along edges and curve around shapes where traditional top-emitting strips won't fit. Also available at 60 LED/m and 90 LED/m densities.
Key Features
- 120 Side-Emitting LEDs per Metre – High-density side light for seamless edge illumination
- 90-Degree Light Emission – LEDs emit sideways rather than upward for edge and accent lighting
- Individually Addressable – Control each LED independently with single-pin data
- Skinny Form Factor – Narrow enough to fit along thin edges and curves
- Black Flex PCB – Blends into dark surfaces when off
- Weatherproof Sheathing – Protective casing included
- Cuttable – Cut line at the halfway point; solder to 0.1" copper pads
Power Requirements
- Voltage – 5V DC
- Recommended Supplies – 5V 2A supply for 1 metre; 5V 10A supply for multiple metres
Ideal For
- Edge and accent lighting along furniture, shelves, and displays
- Backlighting for signs and lettering
- Curved surface illumination
- Architectural detail lighting
Package Contents

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- DC
- DC means direct current, where electricity flows in one constant direction, as supplied by batteries, USB ports and many plug-pack power supplies. When a product specifies DC, it runs from a DC supply rather than mains AC, so you need to provide the correct voltage and polarity.
- LED
- A light-emitting diode (LED) is a small electronic component that emits light when current flows through it in the correct direction. Because it only conducts one way, its polarity matters, and a through-hole LED must be soldered the correct way around to light up.
- NeoPixel
- A type of addressable LED system where colour data is sent along a single digital data line from one LED or controller to the next. Compatibility matters because the timing and signal format must match for the lights or driver board to respond correctly.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board (PCB) is a board, usually rigid, with etched copper tracks that connect electronic components together without loose wiring. Components are mounted on the board and signals route between them through the copper layout.
- RGB
- Short for red, green and blue, the three primary colours of light that are mixed in varying amounts to make a wide range of colours. In electronics RGB can refer to an LED or pixel that blends these three colours, or to a colour signal or interface that carries separate red, green and blue channels.
