The Adafruit FONA 800 uFL Shield Starter Pack bundles the FONA 800 Shield with all the accessories you need to add 2G cellular voice, text, SMS, and data to your Arduino project. The shield plugs directly onto any classic Arduino or compatible board, with a uFL antenna connector for a compact external GSM antenna.
Built around the SIM800 quad-band GSM module (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), the FONA 800 Shield includes LiPo battery charging with a power switch, level shifting for Arduino-safe operation, a TRRS headphone jack, vibration motor driver, and FM radio reception. It communicates via AT commands over serial with auto baud detection.
