This 7" IPS touch display connects to the LattePanda Alpha and LattePanda Delta via eDP (Embedded DisplayPort) interface. With 1024×600 resolution, 178° viewing angle, and high colour saturation, it delivers excellent visuals for HMI and portable projects.
The fully laminated, dust-proof design reduces light reflection, and the screen edges feature double-sided adhesive tape for easy, secure mounting. The eDP interface allows direct control of screen power, brightness, and contrast through the OS or APIs.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- 6H surface hardness
- 6H is a pencil-hardness rating used to describe how resistant the screen surface is to scratching. A higher hardness rating helps in portable or classroom projects where the display may be touched often or handled roughly.
- DisplayPort
- A digital display interface used to connect monitors and other video displays. It matters because the supported DisplayPort version affects display resolution, refresh rate and monitor compatibility.
- eDP
- Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) is an internal display interface used to connect a computer board directly to a built-in panel rather than an external monitor. When a display uses eDP, it requires a host board with a matching eDP connector and support, and will not plug into a standard external output such as HDMI.
- FPC
- FPC stands for flexible printed circuit, a thin flat flexible cable or connector style often used where space is tight or some movement is needed, commonly for displays, cameras and other high-density connections. Connecting to an FPC connector generally needs a matching cable with the correct pin count, pitch and contact orientation.
- HMI
- HMI stands for Human-Machine Interface, meaning the screen, buttons or controls a person uses to interact with a device. Describing something as suited to HMI use suggests it is intended for user-facing applications such as control panels, dashboards or instrument displays.
- IPS
- IPS is a type of LCD panel that keeps colours and contrast more consistent when viewed from an angle. This matters for small displays that may be mounted in a dashboard, handheld project, or enclosure where the viewer is not always looking straight on.
- Transmittance
- Transmittance is the fraction of light that passes through a material or layer rather than being absorbed or reflected, usually given as a percentage. A higher transmittance means more light gets through, which can produce a brighter or clearer result for the same light source.
