A matching pair of 6-pin JST XH-compatible cables — one with an inline plug and one with an inline socket — for easy connect-and-disconnect wiring. The 2.5mm pitch connectors friction-lock together for a secure, reliable connection that's easy to separate when needed.
Each cable is 20cm long with 26 AWG stranded wire, capable of handling a couple of amps of current. The 2.5mm pitch is close enough to standard 0.1" (2.54mm) spacing to be compatible with most perfboard layouts.
Key Features
- Matching Pair – One plug and one socket cable that connect together
- JST XH Compatible – 2.5mm pitch, works with standard JST XH connectors
- 26 AWG Stranded Wire – Flexible and capable of carrying moderate current
- 20cm Length – Each cable is approximately 20cm including connectors
- Friction Lock – Secure connection that's easy to disconnect
Ideal For
- Detachable multi-wire connections
- Sensor arrays and module hookups
- Prototyping projects needing plug-in connectors
- Pairing with JST XH PCB-mount headers
Package Contents
- 1× 6-pin inline plug cable (20cm)
- 1× 6-pin inline socket cable (20cm)
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- AWG
- American Wire Gauge is a numbering system for wire thickness, where a lower number means a thicker wire. The AWG rating matters because thicker wire can usually carry more current with less voltage drop and heating.
- Headers
- Rows of metal pins used to plug a module into a breadboard or connect it with jumper wires. Pre-soldered headers make the module easier to use straight away without needing to solder the pins yourself.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
