These single-row right-angle female headers with 0.1" (2.54mm) pitch are an essential building block for electronics projects. Use them to add right-angle socket connections to perfboards, PCBs, and prototyping setups — they accept 22AWG wire or standard male header pins.
Each header is 36 pins long and can be stacked side by side on a 0.1" grid. While not breakaway-style, they can be cut to size with diagonal cutters or a thin hacksaw — we recommend sacrificing one socket position by cutting through its centre. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation for reliable long-term connections.
Key Features
- 36-Pin Single Row – Cuttable to custom lengths as needed
- Right-Angle Orientation – Routes connections parallel to the board surface
- 0.1" (2.54mm) Pitch – Industry-standard spacing, stackable on a 0.1" grid
- Gold-Plated Contacts – Resists oxidation for reliable connections
- Female Socket – Accepts male header pins and 22AWG wire
Ideal For
- Perfboard and PCB prototyping
- Adding right-angle socket connections to custom boards
- Creating custom-length single-row connectors
Package Contents
- 5× 36-pin right-angle female headers
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Headers
- Rows of metal pins used to plug a module into a breadboard or connect it with jumper wires. Pre-soldered headers make the module easier to use straight away without needing to solder the pins yourself.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
