This flat mill cutter is designed for roughing or machining flat and prismatic parts. It comes as a 2 pack and is suited to small CNC milling jobs where a clean surface finish matters.

The cutter is coated with Zirconium Nitride (ZrN), a specialty coating suited to temperature-sensitive materials. ZrN offers corrosion resistance, lubricity and hardness for a range of machining applications.

The coating helps keep edge build-up to a minimum, which can improve the surface finish. ZrN works best for machining titanium and aluminium alloys, nickel, brass, copper, cast iron and zinc.
