The ThinkNode M6 Outdoor Solar Power is a high-performance LoRa IoT device designed for harsh outdoor environments and industrial scenarios.
It features the nRFLR1262 LoRa transceiver module and the nRF52840 core processor, supporting Bluetooth and LoRa dual-mode connectivity to ensure stable signal coverage. Equipped with a 6W solar charger and two 18650 batteries, it offers all-weather operation. Its IP65 waterproof housing allows operation in extreme environments ranging from -20°C to 60°C. It offers flexible mounting options, including wall mounting, brackets, pole mounting, and U-shaped clamps.
ThinkNode M6 comes with dual SP11 waterproof aviation connectors and supports long-range communication, precise positioning, and low-power operation. It can be used out-of-the-box, and rapid deployment, ideal for LoRa network expansion, remote monitoring, outdoor emergency response, and off-grid communications, especially in remote areas with limited outdoor network access.
Self-developed by Elecrow with exclusive design.
Note: We will provide LoRa/LoRaWAN-related examples, sensor example code, GPS example code, etc. for reference or use. The overall deployment requires further expansion by the user. For details, please refer to the GitHub repository.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

GPS
The US satellite navigation system used by GNSS receivers to calculate position and time. Support for GPS is important because it is widely available and often used together with other constellations for more reliable positioning.
IoT
Short for Internet of Things, meaning physical devices that connect to networks or the internet to send data or be controlled remotely. It matters if you want projects such as connected sensors, remote controls or classroom data-logging activities.
LoRa
LoRa is a long-range, low-power radio technology often used for telemetry and remote sensors. It matters here because the connector and pinout are compatible with some LoRa telemetry products, even though this module uses Bluetooth instead.
nRF52840
The nRF52840 is a Nordic Semiconductor microcontroller commonly used in maker boards, especially where Bluetooth Low Energy is needed. Seeing it listed tells you the USB host software may support boards based on this chip.
