The Stickvise holds your PCB flat at table level, giving your hands a stable surface to rest on while soldering — a significant advantage over elevated, tilted vises when working on fine pitch components. The low-profile design also fits easily under a microscope, keeping the board consistently in focus.
Built with machined, bead-blasted, and anodized aluminium jaws and insulating Nylon 6/6 jaw plates. All hardware is metric standard sizing.
Key Features
- Flat, Table-Level Hold – Hands rest directly on the table for maximum stability during fine soldering
- Microscope Compatible – Low profile keeps PCB in the focal plane under a microscope
- Aluminium Jaws – Machined, bead-blasted, and anodized for durability
- Insulating Jaw Plates – Nylon 6/6 construction; won't damage PCB pads or tracks
- Metric Hardware – All fasteners and components are metric standard
Ideal For
- SMD soldering and fine-pitch rework
- PCB assembly and inspection under a microscope
- Any bench soldering work requiring a steady, low-profile board hold
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
