This handy tool helps remove a standard 2-pin JST-PH connector with 2mm pitch, such as the female connector commonly found on single-cell LiPo batteries. It gives you something safer and easier to grip than the connector body itself, helping avoid sore fingertips, pinched wires from needle nose pliers, or cut wires from diagonal cutters.
To use it, slide the tool over the LiPo battery’s JST female connector with one hand, then hold the male connector with your other hand and pull the female connector away to disconnect the battery. It can slide on from the top or bottom, and includes a wire channel for the battery leads when removing the connector downwards against a table.
The tool includes a keychain hole so it can be kept with your other tools, or hung on a metal shelf with a small magnet. It is designed for removing connectors only, not inserting them, and works best where the JST male connector is on the edge of a board without nearby components obstructing access.
This part is 3D printed, so there may be slight imperfections from the printing process.

- 2mm pitch
- Pitch is the distance between the centres of neighbouring pins on a connector. A 2mm pitch header is smaller than the common 2.54mm breadboard spacing, so you need matching cables and headers rather than standard breadboard jumper leads.
- LiPo
- A lithium polymer rechargeable battery commonly used in portable electronics projects. It matters because LiPo batteries need correct charging circuitry and care, and this board includes hardware intended for that battery type.
- pH
