This pre-fluxed copper desoldering braid is made for removing solder from joints, pads and small mistakes like solder bridges. Place it over the solder, heat it with your soldering iron, and the activated flux plus the braid’s capillary action draws molten solder into the wick.
It is handy for rework, replacing components, cleaning up excess solder, and fixing SMD soldering slip-ups. The no-clean flux helps keep bench work straightforward without needing a separate cleaning step for many jobs.
This is size #3 wick, supplied on a spool, with a 0.080" (2.0mm) braid width and 5 feet of length.
