A 20-pack of 6×6 mm tactile push buttons with soft translucent silicone tops. Instead of a hard plastic actuator, these buttons feature a molded silicone cap that provides a soft, grippy feel under the finger while retaining a satisfying click from the underlying dome switch.
These are a drop-in replacement for standard 6×6 mm tactile switch buttons — same layout and footprint. They work best mounted on a PCB but can also be used on a solderless breadboard.
Key Features
- Soft Silicone Top – Comfortable, grippy feel compared to standard hard plastic buttons
- Tactile Click – Clicky dome switch beneath the silicone cap
- Standard 6×6 mm Footprint – Drop-in replacement for standard tactile switches
- Translucent Silicone – Lets light through for backlit applications
- 20-Pack – Plenty for keyboards, macro pads, and projects
Specifications
- Switch Size – 6 × 6 mm
- Button Type – Tactile dome switch with silicone top
- Cap Colour – Translucent
- Mounting – Through-hole (PCB or breadboard)
Ideal For
- Custom keyboards and macro pads
- Arduino and microcontroller input projects
- Upgrading existing tactile buttons on PCBs
- Breadboard prototyping

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- microcontroller
- A microcontroller is a small computer on a single chip that runs a stored program and controls connected inputs and outputs such as buttons, sensors, displays and communication interfaces. In a device built around one, it is the part that executes the code and coordinates the device's behaviour.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board (PCB) is a board, usually rigid, with etched copper tracks that connect electronic components together without loose wiring. Components are mounted on the board and signals route between them through the copper layout.
- solderless breadboard
- A reusable board with rows of internally connected holes for building circuits by pushing in components and jumper wires, with no soldering required. It lets you prototype and rewire a circuit quickly and reversibly before committing to a permanent, soldered build.
- through-hole
- A mounting style where the component leads pass through holes in a circuit board and are soldered on the other side. Through-hole parts are often easier to handle and solder by hand, which is useful for classroom and hobby projects.
- TOPS
- TOPS means trillions of operations per second, often used to describe AI accelerator performance. It helps compare whether a computing module is suited to lightweight image recognition or more demanding neural-network workloads.
