This M12 to RJ45 Ethernet adapter uses M12 male 4 pin D coded with IP67 waterproof rating, which is impervious to dust and short-term soaking, safe and reliable to use.

There are metal shielding layers on the RJ45 port for fixing interface and preventing external electromagnetic interference, which assures good network signal. With pure copper eight-core gold-plated pins inside, the internal provides good contact and conduction performance during network data transmission.

The connector is fully compatible with the RJ45 network port, plug and play, which is very suitable for equipment with the same interface, such as industrial sensors, industrial cameras and switches.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

electromagnetic interference
Electromagnetic interference is unwanted electrical noise from nearby devices, cables, or radio signals that can disturb a signal in a wire. Shielding helps reduce this noise, which matters for network adapters because cleaner signals are less likely to cause unreliable connections or data errors.
IP67
An ingress protection rating meaning the enclosure is dust-tight and can survive temporary immersion in water under specified test conditions. This matters when choosing a sensor for outdoor, wet, or wash-down environments.
RJ45
The common plug and socket style used for wired Ethernet network cables. If a board has an RJ45 connector, you can usually plug it into standard Ethernet cabling without making a custom connector.
