This IDC ribbon cable is a handy interconnect for compact electronics projects that use a 2mm pitch, 2x3-pin layout. At 120mm long, it is suited to short board-to-board runs inside enclosures or between nearby modules.
The pre-terminated ribbon format helps keep wiring neat and repeatable compared with individual jumper wires, making it useful for prototyping, repairs and small embedded builds.

- Pitch is the distance between the centres of neighbouring pins on a connector. A 2mm pitch header is smaller than the common 2.54mm breadboard spacing, so you need matching cables and headers rather than standard breadboard jumper leads.
