This is a basic 47 kOhms through-hole resistor for general electronics prototyping and repairs. It is rated for 1/4 Watt with a ±5% tolerance.
The PTH leads make it easy to use with breadboards, perf boards and hand-soldered circuits. It is supplied as a single resistor, handy when you only need one value for a project or test jig.

- PTH
- Plated through-hole means the pin holes are metal-lined so solder connects the pad on both sides of the board. It is useful for connectors and headers that need a strong mechanical and electrical connection.
- Tolerance
- Tolerance tells you how far the real resistance value may be from the printed value. A 1% resistor is useful when a circuit needs more predictable behaviour than a looser 5% or 10% part.
