Back in my day, if you wanted a mechanical keyboard, you had to purchase a massive IBM Model M Keyboard but now you can DIY your very own compact keyboards with your very favorite layouts to make the keeb of your dreams.

For all the DIY keebfans in the house here is a super sleek and sturdy Purple Anodized Aluminum  Keyboard 60% (GH60) Shell, the perfect base to begin your custom keyboard project in a gorgeous color. You provide the PCB in the common 'GH60' sizing and bolt it into this base.

Comes with a matching pair of purple aluminum bumper feet, four anti-slip stickers, and mechanical screw hardware.

Note: This is just the keyboard shell. Don't forget to grab some keycaps and switches.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

PCB
A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
