This power distribution bus is machined from a single piece of solid brass, providing a reliable way to distribute power across multiple wires in a project. Seven screw-terminal holes accept wires of 20 AWG or larger (up to 6 mm diameter), making it well suited for robotics, LED pixel grids, and other builds with multiple power feeds.

A plastic cover provides insulation from accidental contact, and mounting flanges allow the bus to be secured inside an enclosure or onto a chassis.

Key Features

  • Solid Brass Construction – Machined from a single piece for excellent conductivity
  • 7 Screw Terminals – Each with a 6 mm diameter bore for thick wires
  • Plastic Insulating Cover – Protects against accidental shorts and contact
  • Mounting Flanges – Secure the bus inside enclosures or onto frames

Specifications

  • Material – Solid brass
  • Terminals – 7 screw-down connections
  • Hole Diameter – 6 mm
  • Minimum Wire Size – 20 AWG (thinner wires may not grip securely)

Ideal For

  • LED pixel matrix and strip power distribution
  • Robot power wiring
  • Projects requiring a central power bus for multiple branches

Package Contents

  • 1× Power distribution bus (7-terminal, solid brass with plastic cover)

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

AWG
American Wire Gauge is a numbering system for wire thickness, where a lower number means a thicker wire. The AWG rating matters because thicker wire can usually carry more current with less voltage drop and heating.
LED
A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
