This 5-pin female housing is made for adding keyed, polarised connections to perfboard and PCB projects. It helps prevent power, sensor, or general-purpose connections from being plugged in backwards or the wrong way around.
Use it where you want a simple removable connection for a peripheral, cable assembly, or board-to-wire hookup. The housing accepts crimp pins and mates with the matching polarised header.
This listing is for the female housing only, so be sure to order the mating header and crimp pins separately for a complete connector assembly.
