This yellow PLA filament is a general-purpose 3D printing material supplied on a 1kg reel. With a 1.75mm diameter, it is suitable for printers that use standard 1.75mm filament.
PLA, or polylactic acid, is a bioplastic that is easy to print and produces a smooth surface finish. It has minimal warping and shrinking compared with many other materials, making it a good choice for flat surfaces, hard angles and parts that need a tighter fit.
It is commonly used for prototypes, educational models, architectural models, artefact replicas, costume props and figurines. The filament can also be post-processed, making it a practical option for prints that will be painted after printing.
The material is supplied on a heavy-duty plastic reel and vacuum sealed to help keep moisture out.
