The MB1009 ParkSonar-EZ-144 is an ultrasonic proximity and range sensor from MaxBotix, designed to detect vehicles within a calibrated detection zone. It reports when a target enters or leaves the zone, with both proximity and range data available via logic-level (high/low) and RS232 serial outputs.
With a 42 kHz ultrasonic transducer, 25 mm (1-inch) resolution, and a detection zone of approximately 3.7 m (12 ft), the sensor supports automatic multi-sensor operation with 14+ simultaneous units depending on mounting and environment.
