Ozobot Challenge Mat: Mission to Mars

Evo has landed on Mars. Between the canyons and the volcanoes it has found a spot for base camp — now students have to program it out across the terrain to find the supply crates and fuel barrels the mission depends on.

The framing does real work here. Students are writing Ozobot Blockly programs to navigate a surface, but the problem in front of them is a mission with a goal, and that difference shows up in how long they persist when the first attempt fails.
