Ultra-compact NeoPixel RGB LEDs in a tiny 2427 package (2.4 × 2.7 mm) — half the size of 3535 Mini NeoPixels and a quarter the size of standard 5050 NeoPixels. Each LED contains red, green, and blue elements with an integrated driver chip that handles constant-current PWM, so colour remains consistent even as voltage varies.

Like all NeoPixels, these are chainable — the output of one LED feeds into the input of the next, allowing near-infinite chain lengths from a single data line. Set each LED's 24-bit colour once and the driver handles the rest.

Colour depth
Colour depth describes how many different colours a display can show. A 65K-colour display can show about 65,000 colours, which is useful for icons, graphs, and simple full-colour interfaces but is less detailed than modern phone or computer screens.
