NeoPixel LED Outdoor Netting – 20x20 Grid for Vibrant Displays
This pre-assembled NeoPixel LED Outdoor Netting makes it effortless to create large LED grids without the hassle of piecing together multiple strips. With a 20x20 RGB LED layout, you get 400 addressable pixels, all controlled with just a single data pin.
Key Features:
- 20 x 20 NeoPixel LEDs – 50mm (2") spacing in a zig-zag wiring pattern.
- Simple control – Compatible with SK6812/WS2812/NeoPixel signal at 5V logic.
- 12V power input – Ensures consistent brightness across the grid (lower voltages may cause dimming).
- Power draw: 30mA per LED (up to 12A at full brightness; 12V 5A is sufficient for most displays).
- Works with ESP32 & WLED – Recommended for Sparkle Motion board or any controller capable of driving 400 LEDs.
- Outdoor-friendly – Designed for outdoor use but not waterproof (avoid submersion and prolonged direct sunlight).
- Easy mounting – Plastic rings on the top/bottom and coated wire loops on the sides for secure installation.
Perfect for holiday displays, event decorations, or interactive installations, this LED netting makes expanding to larger grids simple and hassle-free.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- ESP32
- ESP32 is a family of low-cost microcontroller chips and modules from Espressif with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth. They support programmable firmware and over-the-air updates, and are commonly programmed with toolchains such as the Arduino core and ESP-IDF.
- LED
- A light-emitting diode (LED) is a small electronic component that emits light when current flows through it in the correct direction. Because it only conducts one way, its polarity matters, and a through-hole LED must be soldered the correct way around to light up.
- NeoPixel
- A type of addressable LED system where colour data is sent along a single digital data line from one LED or controller to the next. Compatibility matters because the timing and signal format must match for the lights or driver board to respond correctly.
- RGB
- Short for red, green and blue, the three primary colours of light that are mixed in varying amounts to make a wide range of colours. In electronics RGB can refer to an LED or pixel that blends these three colours, or to a colour signal or interface that carries separate red, green and blue channels.
