A 24 mm translucent red arcade button with built-in LEDs. The crystal-clear body glows when the LEDs are powered, making it ideal for illuminated control panels, arcade cabinets, and interactive projects. A pre-installed micro-switch with gold-plated contacts provides a smooth, tactile press.

The button screws into a 24 mm mounting hole and fits panels up to ~15 mm thick. Two surface-mount LEDs are wired in series with a ~1 kΩ resistor inside the button body, drawing approximately 5 mA at 5 V. LED control pins sit alongside the switch contacts for easy wiring.

Key Features

  • Built-In LEDs – Two SMD LEDs in series with ~1 kΩ resistor
  • 24 mm Mounting – Standard mini arcade button size, screw-in fit
  • Gold-Plated Contacts – Pre-installed micro-switch for reliable actuation
  • Translucent Red Body – Crystal-clear glossy finish, looks great lit or unlit
  • Panel Thickness: Up to ~15 mm
  • LED Current: ~5 mA at 5 V
Important: The red and yellow versions of these buttons require 5 V to illuminate — the LEDs are in series and will not light at 3.3 V.

Package Contents

  • 1× Mini LED Arcade Button – 24 mm Translucent Red

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

LED
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a small electronic component that emits light when current flows through it in the correct direction. Because it only conducts one way, its polarity matters, and a through-hole LED must be soldered the correct way around to light up.
SMD
SMD means surface-mount device, a component style designed to be soldered directly onto the surface of a circuit board rather than through holes. SMD parts are compact and mounted flat on the board, which suits smaller and mass-produced designs.
