This 16mm momentary metal pushbutton gives custom panels, enclosures and interactive projects a clean, rugged interface with a polished stainless steel finish.

The switch is SPDT momentary, so it changes circuit state only while it is being pressed. A white illuminated LED ring provides a clear visual indicator and helps make the button easy to find in low light.

The threaded body suits standard 16mm panel cut-outs, while small solder lugs on the rear make it ready for secure wiring into your project.

Features:

  • Visual indicator: Illuminated white LED ring operates at 5V
  • Weather resistance: IP65 rating protects the front face against dust and water splashing, such as rain
  • Compact mounting: 16mm threaded body with 1mm pitch
  • Body: Stainless Steel Body
  • Switch type: SPDT Momentary
  • Contact rating: 3A @ 250V AC
  • LED rating: 5V DC (White Ring)
  • Waterproof rating: IP65 Waterproof Rating

Specifications:

A solid choice for dashboards, control panels, workshop gear and outdoor-facing projects where a durable momentary input and visible status ring are useful.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

DC
DC means direct current, where electricity flows in one constant direction, as supplied by batteries, USB ports and many plug-pack power supplies. When a product specifies DC, it runs from a DC supply rather than mains AC, so you need to provide the correct voltage and polarity.
LED
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a small electronic component that emits light when current flows through it in the correct direction. Because it only conducts one way, its polarity matters, and a through-hole LED must be soldered the correct way around to light up.
