Carbide 3D McFly #603E 8mm Surfacing Cutter

The McFly #603E is an 8mm shank surfacing cutter from Carbide 3D, made for quickly flattening timber on compatible Shapeoko machines. Its razor-sharp, indexable carbide tips are well suited to surfacing a wasteboard or finishing end grain cutting boards.

Each bit comes with 4 indexable inserts, so you can rotate or replace the cutting edges as needed. This tool is designed for wood only and is not for use on metals.

This 8mm shank version is only compatible with ER16/ER20 spindles using an 8mm collet. It is recommended for Shapeoko machines only, not Nomads; if you have a Carbide Compact Router or a 65mm VFD spindle, you will need the McFly with a 1/4" shank instead.
