Carbide 3D McFly #602E Cutter - 1/4in Shank

This wood surfacing cutter is made for CNC work where you want to flatten a wasteboard or put a clean finish on end grain timber projects. Its razor-sharp, indexable carbide tips are suited to making light work of lumber on compatible machines.

Each bit comes with 4 indexable inserts, so the cutting edges can be indexed as they wear. The tool is designed for wood only and is not for use on metals.

This 1/4in shank version is recommended for Shapeoko machines, not Nomads, and is compatible with all Carbide routers and spindles. If you have an 80mm spindle with an ER16/ER20 collet, the 8mm shank McFly may be the better option.
