Improve the signal performance of your cellular project by moving the antenna outside the enclosure. This LTE hinged external antenna helps reduce interference from internal electronics, giving your modem a cleaner signal path and a more stable connection.
Designed for broad cellular compatibility, it covers 600 MHz to 2700 MHz and suits 4G/LTE projects, with support for older 3G and 2G systems as well as LPWA networks such as NB-IoT and Cat-M1.
The hinged body can be positioned straight, at 45°, or at 90° to help optimise reception or fit your enclosure layout. It uses a standard SMA Male connector for connection to compatible cellular modems and development boards.

- Impedance
- Impedance is the total opposition a component or circuit presents to alternating current, measured in ohms, combining resistance with frequency-dependent reactance. It appears in many contexts, such as matching a speaker's impedance (for example 4 ohm or 8 ohm) to an amplifier or the input and output impedance of signal circuits, and a correct match helps avoid weak signals, distortion or damage.
- IoT
- Short for Internet of Things, meaning physical devices that connect to networks or the internet to send data or be controlled remotely. It matters if you want projects such as connected sensors, remote controls or classroom data-logging activities.
- NB-IoT
- NB-IoT is a low-power cellular network standard designed for sending small amounts of data from remote devices on long battery life. When a product lists NB-IoT, it can report readings from places without Wi-Fi or Ethernet, provided there is suitable cellular coverage and a data plan.
- SMA
- SMA is a small threaded coaxial (RF) connector widely used to attach antennas and other radio-frequency cables. A device with SMA antenna ports needs antennas or pigtails with matching SMA connectors, or a suitable adapter, to connect to them.
