A retro-futuristic triangle-shaped illuminated pushbutton that looks straight out of a 1960s sci-fi control panel. Medium-sized and easy to press, this red button features a built-in LED that can be controlled independently from the switch — use it as an indicator, a status light, or just for visual flair.

The momentary switch contacts are normally open and connect only while pressed. Since the LED is electrically separate from the switch, you have full control over when it lights up — on press, on release, always on, or driven by your own logic. Arrange six together for a striking hexagonal layout.

Key Features

  • Triangle Shape – Distinctive retro sci-fi aesthetic; six buttons form a hexagonal pattern
  • Built-In LED – Independently controllable from the switch action
  • Momentary Action – Normally open contacts connect only while the button is pressed
  • Four Pins – Two for the switch, two for the LED (marked + and −)
  • Panel-Friendly Size – Large enough to press easily without dominating your project panel

Specifications

  • Button Colour – Red
  • Switch Type – Momentary, normally open
  • LED Forward Voltage – ~3V
  • Recommended Resistor – 220Ω to 1kΩ in series (for 3V+ supply)
  • LED Type – Standard 5mm (non-diffused)
  • Body – Black plastic housing
Tip: The included LED is non-diffused. For a more even glow, swap it with a diffused 5mm LED for a much better look.

Ideal For

  • Custom control panels and dashboards
  • Retro sci-fi themed builds and props
  • Interactive art installations
  • Arcade and gaming projects

Package Contents

  • 1× LED Illuminated Triangle Pushbutton (Red)

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

LED
A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
