The Taoglas FXP895 is a compact flexible PCB antenna for ISM and LoRa applications, designed to fit into small connected devices where space is tight.
Its wideband 860 to 928MHz coverage suits regional ISM/LoRa frequency bands, helping one antenna design support multiple markets. The flexible PCB format can be positioned inside an enclosure and adhered with 3M tape.
For best performance, place the antenna as far away from metal components as possible. It uses an IPEX MHFI U.FL compatible connector with 1.37mm coaxial cable for connection to suitable radio modules and boards.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Impedance
- Impedance is the total opposition a component or circuit presents to alternating current, measured in ohms, combining resistance with frequency-dependent reactance. It appears in many contexts, such as matching a speaker's impedance (for example 4 ohm or 8 ohm) to an amplifier or the input and output impedance of signal circuits, and a correct match helps avoid weak signals, distortion or damage.
- LoRa
- LoRa is a long-range, low-power wireless radio technology often used for telemetry, remote sensors and other links that send small amounts of data over long distances. It is distinct from Bluetooth and WiFi, so sharing a connector or pinout with LoRa hardware does not mean a device actually uses LoRa.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board (PCB) is a board, usually rigid, with etched copper tracks that connect electronic components together without loose wiring. Components are mounted on the board and signals route between them through the copper layout.
- PCB antenna
- A PCB antenna is an antenna pattern built directly into the circuit board rather than a separate metal antenna. It matters because placement, nearby metal and enclosure design can affect wireless range.
- u.FL
- u.FL is a tiny snap-on antenna connector often used on compact wireless boards. A board with u.FL usually needs an external antenna, which matters if the product will be inside an enclosure or needs better antenna placement.
