Three ways to connect — Wi-Fi, HDMI and USB — make the VZ-X the most adaptable visualiser IPEVO builds. Whatever the room already has, this camera will talk to it.
Wireless when you want it
Connect the VZ-X over Wi-Fi to a Mac, PC or Chromebook, to an iPad, iPhone or Android device, or to an Apple TV (4th generation and above), and stream live images from anywhere in the room with no cable to trip over. A 9 to 12 hour battery covers a full teaching day, so you can carry it to a student's desk, capture their work, and send it to the screen without moving them or the camera setup.
Built to be repositioned
- Swivelling head and multi-jointed stand for capturing from different heights, angles and orientations
- Glass fibre reinforced stand for extra strength in a busy classroom
- 8 megapixel camera for capturing fine detail
- Works with third-party software in USB mode
Suits a science demonstration where the class needs to see a tray on the bench, or a maths lesson where you want to move the document camera around rather than moving thirty students.
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- HDMI
- HDMI is a common digital video and audio connection used by computers, media players, and many displays. If a display kit has HDMI input, it is usually much easier to test with a single-board computer because it can act like a normal monitor.
