High Brightness Orange Electroluminescent (EL) Wire - 2.5 meters [High brightness, long life]

A 2.5 m length of high-brightness orange electroluminescent (EL) wire, pre-cut and pre-soldered with a standard quick-connect plug. This 2.6 mm diameter wire uses the latest phosphor technology to produce twice the brightness of standard 2.3 mm EL wire, emitting 70 cd/m² at 1.5 kHz / 90 V with a half-life of 3000 hours.

EL wire produces a smooth, even glow similar to thin neon. It is highly flexible, holds its shape when bent, and draws only about 10 mA per metre — much less power than LEDs for accent lighting effects.
