These labelled male-to-female DuPont jumper wires make it easier to keep track of connections in busy electronics builds. Each wire carries I2C/UART pin labelling, helping reduce mix-ups when colour coding or tiny board silkscreen is hard to read.
The wire sequence is the same at both ends and follows the latest DFRobot Gravity series pin definition. They are a handy fit for STEAM education, projects with multiple Gravity interfaces, and breadboard prototyping.
Each pack includes five Gravity M/F DuPont lines with tags, each 30cm long.
Features:
- Quality: High-quality, RoHS compliant
- Identification: Colors and labels make for easier view and more efficient wiring
- Gravity compatibility: Compliant with the I2C & UART pin definition of the DFRobot Gravity series
- Red line: VCC/+ (Power +)
- Black line: GND/- (Power -)
- Blue line: SCL/RX (Clock/Receive)
- Green line: SDA/TX (Data/Transmit)
Specifications:
- Interface: DuPont 2.54 (M/F)
- Length: 30cm
- Withstand Voltage: <50V
- Withstand Current: <1000mA
Useful for cleaner wiring and quicker debugging when working with I2C, UART, Gravity modules, and breadboards.
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Gravity
- Gravity is DFRobot’s plug-in connector system for sensors, motors and modules, using standard cables to reduce loose jumper wiring. It matters because Gravity-compatible parts can connect directly to these ports, while non-Gravity parts may need adapters or manual wiring.
- I2C
- I2C is a two-wire communication bus used by many sensors and small modules. It matters because several I2C devices can share the same two wires, but each device needs a compatible address and your controller must support I2C.
- UART
- UART is a simple serial connection that sends data over separate transmit and receive wires, often labelled TX and RX. It matters because this module is designed to replace a wired UART cable with a wireless link while keeping the same serial data format.
- UPS
- An uninterruptible power supply is a battery-backed power system that keeps a device running when external power is unplugged or fails. For an embedded computer, it helps prevent sudden shutdowns that can corrupt files or interrupt a project.
