This compact illuminated push-button module combines a tactile switch with a built-in white LED indicator, making it handy for interactive electronics, prototypes and embedded control panels.
The switch outputs a digital HIGH/LOW signal and runs from +3.3-5V, so it suits common development boards including Arduino-compatible boards and micro:bit projects. It uses a self-locking toggle action: press once and the output switches HIGH while the LED turns on; press again and the output returns LOW while the LED turns off.
A PH2.0-3P connector supports simple Gravity-style plug-and-play wiring, helping keep classroom builds, robotics interfaces and project panels tidy. The pack includes 1 x Gravity: LED Switch and 1 x Digital Sensor Connector.
Features:
- Self-locking push-button mechanism with digital output
- Integrated LED indicator lights when the button is pressed
- Provides clear visual feedback for interactive electronics projects
- PH2.0-3P connector for easy plug-and-play wiring
- Available in multiple LED colors: red, yellow, green, blue, and white
Specifications:
- Operating Voltage: +3.3-5V (3.3V is recommended)
- Output: digital
- Connector: PH2.0-3P
- Dimension: 27×26.5mm
- Colors Available: red, yellow, green, blue, white
Use it as a clear on/off input for robotics control panels, backlit button interfaces, multimedia controls, event triggers and STEM demonstrations.
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Gravity
- Gravity is DFRobot’s plug-in connector system for sensors, motors and modules, using standard cables to reduce loose jumper wiring. It matters because Gravity-compatible parts can connect directly to these ports, while non-Gravity parts may need adapters or manual wiring.
- LED
- A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
