This illuminated pushbutton module is a simple self-locking switch with a built-in red LED for clear visual feedback. Press it once and the module outputs High while the LED turns on; press it again and the output goes Low while the LED turns off.

It is designed for easy use in Arduino, micro:bit and Gravity-style digital input projects. Use it for interactive controls such as a switch, backlit keyboard key, music player panel or recording control panel.

The module uses a PH2.0-3P connector and includes a digital sensor connector cable, so it is straightforward to plug into compatible boards and sensor expansion shields. DFRobot also provides a product wiki for setup guidance.

Gravity
Gravity is DFRobot’s plug-in connector system for sensors, motors and modules, using standard cables to reduce loose jumper wiring. It matters because Gravity-compatible parts can connect directly to these ports, while non-Gravity parts may need adapters or manual wiring.
LED
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a small electronic component that emits light when current flows through it in the correct direction. Because it only conducts one way, its polarity matters, and a through-hole LED must be soldered the correct way around to light up.
