This compact illuminated push-button module adds a simple, visible input to interactive electronics, classroom prototypes and maker projects. A transparent cap shows the integrated LED, which lights as soon as the button is pressed for clear visual feedback.

It uses the Gravity PH2.0-3P connector for straightforward plug-and-play wiring with compatible expansion boards and controllers. The module outputs High when pressed and Low when released, making it easy to read as a digital input from platforms such as micro:bit and other microcontroller projects.

The green version is supplied with the LED button module and a digital sensor connector, making it suitable for control panels, robotics interfaces, interactive displays and STEM demonstrations.

Features:

  • Integrated LED indicator lights when the button is pressed
  • Digital signal output for simple microcontroller input detection
  • Gravity PH2.0‑3P connector for plug‑and‑play wiring
  • Multiple LED color options: red, yellow, green, blue, and white
  • Compact design suitable for interactive electronics projects

Specifications:

  • Operating Voltage: +3.3-5V (3.3V is recommended)
  • Output: digital
  • Connector: PH2.0-3P
  • Dimension: 27×26.5mm/1.06×1.04”
  • Colors Available: red, yellow, green, blue, white

A handy choice for adding tactile input with instant visual indication to beginner-friendly hardware experiments and creative computing builds.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

Gravity
Gravity is DFRobot’s plug-in connector system for sensors, motors and modules, using standard cables to reduce loose jumper wiring. It matters because Gravity-compatible parts can connect directly to these ports, while non-Gravity parts may need adapters or manual wiring.
LED
A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
microcontroller
A microcontroller is a small computer on a chip that runs your program and controls connected inputs and outputs. For this product, it is the part that reads buttons and sensors, drives the display and speaker, and communicates over Bluetooth.
