Very thorough (if heavy) solution
First things first, I love Raspberries Pi, which means I have a lot of them, and many in stand-alone cases. But as they get more powerful cooling is a concern for me. This kit comprises a well ventilated folded metal case, fan (which connects to the dedicated fan connector and neat little copper heatsinks for all the major devices. I didn't do a lot of testing of temperatures before boxing up my Pi 5 so I can't say for certain how much cooler it runs, but I do know I have not seen any throttle events under load so that's encouraging. Good points: * It's well made, no sharp edges, everything fits well. * Fan is quiet * sufficient openings to get cables to the GPIO connector * Rubber feet included * Substantial weight means cables don't push it round on your desk. Less-good points: * Wrangling a camera cable through the provided slot is challenging if the cable is short
