Electroluminescent (EL) wire is a thin, flexible, phosphor-coated wire that glows when a high AC voltage is applied. This 1-metre length of orange EL wire is perfect for adding a vibrant neon-style glow to costumes, props, signage, and decorative projects.

EL wire operates at very low current, making it energy-efficient and cool to the touch. It requires an EL inverter (sold separately) to convert DC battery power to the AC voltage needed to drive the wire.
