A DIN rail-mountable adapter that breaks out all 8 wires of an RJ-45 (Ethernet) cable to screw terminal blocks. Connect an RJ-45 cable to the vertical jack, and access each wire individually via the terminal blocks — no soldering required.
This adapter simplifies wiring in DIN rail builds by letting you use standard Ethernet cables for power and data distribution to sensors, displays, microcontrollers, and other components. Just unscrew the terminal blocks and slide in stranded or solid-core wire.
Key Features
- RJ-45 to Terminal Block – All 8 wires broken out to screw terminals
- Vertical (Straight) Jack – RJ-45 connector oriented vertically
- DIN Rail Mountable – Standard DIN rail mounting for enclosures and panels
- No Soldering – Screw terminals accept stranded or solid-core wire
Ideal For
- DIN rail enclosure builds and industrial panels
- Power and signal distribution using Ethernet cables
- Simplifying multi-wire connections in maker projects
- Sensor and display wiring in control cabinets
Package Contents
- 1× DIN Rail RJ-45 to Terminal Block Adapter (Vertical Jack)
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- DIN
- DIN means data in, the pin where this display receives data from the controller. Connecting DIN to the correct SPI data output pin is needed for the screen to receive pixel and command information.
- DIN rail
- DIN rail is a standard metal mounting rail used inside industrial electrical cabinets. DIN rail mounting matters because it lets the controller be installed neatly alongside power supplies, relays, and other automation hardware.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
- Terminal block
- A connector used to join wires together in a neat, removable, or serviceable way. For this product, it helps split one power input into several outputs without soldering.
