This smooth stainless steel fibre sewing thread is conductive, making it handy for e-textiles, wearable electronics and other small-current projects. It has a resistance of about 9Ω per metre and comes as a 7 metre roll.
The thread can be sewn into fabric for projects such as touchscreen gloves, anti-static clothing, anti-static brushes, LED driving and wearable electronic equipment. Its 0.45mm diameter keeps it fine enough for textile work while still offering low resistance for conductive stitching.
The pack includes one roll of Conductive Stainless Thread (9Ω). Note that thinner wire offers more resistance.
