This cable adapts a 4-pin JST-ZHR connector to breadboard-compatible male pins, making it easier to prototype with devices that use the common friction-fit ZHR-style JST connection.
It is a handy option for connecting compatible sensors, radios and other small electronics modules to a solderless breadboard or jumper-wire setup.
The breadboard end uses a solid connector block rather than individual loose pins, so it is best suited to layouts where that fixed 4-pin spacing will fit your project.
Specifications:
- Wire gauge: 28 AWG

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- AWG
- American Wire Gauge is a numbering system for wire thickness, where a lower number means a thicker wire. The AWG rating matters because thicker wire can usually carry more current with less voltage drop and heating.
- solderless breadboard
- A reusable board with connected holes for building temporary circuits without soldering. It matters in beginner kits because students can change wiring quickly and safely while learning how components connect.
