A compact Bluetooth 5.0 audio receiver board that turns any wired speaker into a wireless one. Simply connect power (3.7–24V) and wire up your speaker — pair it with your phone and start streaming music wirelessly. The board features auto-reconnect, so it automatically pairs with the last connected device.

An integrated dial button provides convenient control: rotate left/right to adjust volume, and press to pause or play. The module supports WAV, APE, FLAC, and MP3 audio decoding with a transmission range of up to 15 metres.

Key Features

  • Bluetooth 5.0 – Backward compatible with 4.2, 4.1, and 4.0
  • Wide Power Supply – 3.7V to 24V DC input
  • Volume Control Dial – Rotate to adjust volume, press to play/pause
  • Auto-Reconnect – Automatically pairs with the last connected device
  • Multi-Format Decoding – WAV, APE, FLAC, and MP3 support
  • 15m Transmission Range – Line of sight
  • Compact Size – 30 × 44mm (1.18" × 1.73")

How to Pair

  1. Power on — blue LED flashes quickly and a beep sounds
  2. On your phone, search for Bluetooth device "XY-WRBT"
  3. Tap to connect — a confirmation beep sounds and the LED stays on
  4. Play music — the LED blinks slowly during playback

Ideal For

  • Converting wired speakers to wireless Bluetooth
  • DIY portable speaker builds
  • Audio projects and maker builds
  • Retrofit upgrades for older audio equipment
Note: This board has no built-in lithium battery protection circuit. If powering from a LiPo battery, use a separate LiPo charger board. The module auto-shuts off below 3.3V. Handle with care — the Bluetooth chip is sensitive to static electricity.

Package Contents

  • 1× Bluetooth 5.0 Audio Receiver Board with Volume Control

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

LED
A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
LiPo
A lithium polymer rechargeable battery commonly used in portable electronics projects. It matters because LiPo batteries need correct charging circuitry and care, and this board includes hardware intended for that battery type.
