Some days we're feeling extra fancy here at the 'fruit warehouse, and we have a big soft spot for colorful cables that make our projects look like Transformers. Like, peep this fully reversible pink/purple Blinka-inspired cable. Or the USB C to USB C Cable w/ 100W Watt Display - 1 meter Black Woven
Our latest addition to the collection is this mechatronic 1-meter-long Blue USB Cable with a USB Type A to a 540º Rotating USB Type C. We especially dig the Muad'Dib-blue indicator LED when the cable is powered and charging your device.
USB C is the latest industry-standard connector for transmitting data and power. The swivel for the USB-C allows you to have an up/down or right angle for either left or right orientations. The USB-C plug itself can also rotate to a vertical or horizontal position. Includes a nice, yellow, ruggedly cool push-hole strap to keep the cable bundled together.
Note that since this is a USB A to C cable it's only good for USB 2.0 speeds and signals.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

LED
A light-emitting diode (LED) is a small electronic component that emits light when current flows through it in the correct direction. Because it only conducts one way, its polarity matters, and a through-hole LED must be soldered the correct way around to light up.
USB 2.0
USB 2.0 is a widely used wired standard for carrying both data and power between a device and a computer or other compatible host, with data rates up to 480 Mbps. It indicates the kind of port a device uses and that it should work with most modern and many older computers.
USB-C
USB-C is a small, reversible USB connector that can carry power, data and, on some devices, video over a single cable. The same connector can range from charging only to high-speed data, so the functions a given port actually supports vary.
