Clip one of these shells onto a Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot, drop a pen into the holder, and every program the students write leaves a line on the paper underneath.

It is the clearest way we know of to show a class what a sequence actually is. The drawing becomes the program — repeat a turn four times and a square appears; get one instruction wrong and the shape is visibly wrong too.
