The Clincher connector from Amphenol FCI provides a quick, tool-free way to terminate Flat Flexible Cables (FFCs) to standard 0.1" pin headers. Simply insert the end of the cable into the connector and press it closed — the internal teeth "clinch" around the conductors, breaking them out to three male 0.1"-spaced pins.
Also works well with FlexiForce pressure sensors and other flex/force sensors that use flat ribbon-style connections, making it easy to interface these sensors with standard breadboards and headers.
Key Features

- 3-Position Male Header – Breaks out to standard 0.1" (2.54mm) spaced pins

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Headers
- Rows of connector contacts on a fixed pitch (commonly 2.54 mm) used to link a board to a breadboard, jumper wires, or another board. They come as male pin headers and female socket headers; when a module ships with pre-soldered headers it can be used straight away, whereas bare pads require soldering the pins yourself.
