So far I have not begun to write programs for this board yet.
But it comes with a simple program to blink the LEDs when it's proximity detector chip is activated, and that works exactly as expected. I have covered the parts that can be safely covered with "Liquid insulator" that forms a solid layer when dry, as I live near the coast, and have had quite a few devices affected by corrosion.
