The Adafruit Perma-Proto Full-Sized Breadboard PCB mirrors the layout of a standard full-size solderless breadboard, making it simple to transfer prototyped circuits to a permanent soldered board. With 60 rows of 5-hole connected pads, four power bus rails, and clear silkscreen labelling, your components go in the same positions as your breadboard layout.
All holes are through-plated with a gold finish — pads won't flake off during rework and won't oxidise like bare copper. The unmasked bottom side lets you cut traces when needed, and 1.2mm drill holes accommodate components with larger leads. Three mounting holes allow secure attachment to enclosures.
Key Features
- 60-Row Breadboard Layout – Familiar 5-hole pad pattern matching standard solderless breadboards
- Through-Plated, Gold-Finished – Durable pads that resist oxidation and survive rework
- White Silkscreen – Row and column markings for easy component placement
- 4 Power Bus Rails – Side-mounted power and ground distribution
- 1.2mm Drill Holes – Fits components with larger leads
- Cuttable Traces – Unmasked bottom side allows easy trace modification
- 3 Mounting Holes – Secure attachment to project boxes and enclosures
Ideal For
- Transferring breadboard prototypes to permanent soldered PCBs
- General-purpose through-hole circuit construction
- Projects needing a high-quality, durable prototyping surface
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
- solderless breadboard
- A reusable board with connected holes for building temporary circuits without soldering. It matters in beginner kits because students can change wiring quickly and safely while learning how components connect.
