Adafruit DotStar LED Strip - APA102 Warm White - 144 LED/m [~3000K - One Meter]

Discontinued

The Adafruit DotStar APA102 Warm White LED Strip (144 LED/m, ~3000K) uses the same integrated DotStar driver as the RGB strips but with dedicated warm white phosphor LEDs. The result is an incredibly bright, consistent warm white light — far superior to mixing RGB to approximate white.

Controlled via a 2-wire SPI interface at up to 32 MHz, each LED features 24-bit PWM brightness control at 20 KHz for smooth, flicker-free dimming. No timing-critical code is required, making these strips compatible with any microcontroller or microprocessor. This is a full 1-metre length of the ultra-dense 144 LED/m strip on white flex PCB.

Key Features

  • Warm White ~3000K – Dedicated white phosphor LEDs for true, consistent warm white light
  • SPI Interface – 2-wire (clock + data) protocol works with any processor speed
  • 24-Bit Brightness Control – High-frequency 20 KHz PWM for smooth, flicker-free dimming
  • Up to 32 MHz Data Rate – Hardware SPI supported but not required
  • Ultra-Dense 144 LED/m – Seamless light output with no visible gaps
  • Weatherproof Sheathing – Flexible PCB with protective coating
  • Cuttable – Cut lines every 1 LED, solder to 0.1" copper pads
  • 4-Pin JST SM Connectors – Included on each end
