This 7-inch multi-touch display is made specifically for the LattePanda IOTA and LattePanda 3 Delta single-board computers. It connects over eDP (Embedded DisplayPort), using the native display output on those boards for a cleaner setup than a generic HDMI screen.
The IPS panel provides a 1024 x 600 image with wide viewing angles and high colour saturation, making it suitable for HMIs, portable computing projects and interactive kiosks. Touch is handled over I2C, and the eDP connection can support direct control of display parameters such as brightness and contrast through the operating system or APIs.
The screen uses a fully-fit construction to help keep dust out and reduce internal light reflection, while the 6H surface hardness helps resist scratches in interactive or portable builds. It is compatible solely with the LattePanda IOTA and LattePanda 3 Delta models.
Included in the package are the 7-inch eDP touch display, a 21cm eDP cable and a 14cm same-side touch cable. A datasheet including the mechanical drawing is available from the manufacturer.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- 6H surface hardness
- 6H is a pencil-hardness rating used to describe how resistant the screen surface is to scratching. A higher hardness rating helps in portable or classroom projects where the display may be touched often or handled roughly.
- DisplayPort
- A digital display interface used to connect monitors and other video displays. It matters because the supported DisplayPort version affects display resolution, refresh rate and monitor compatibility.
- eDP
- Embedded DisplayPort is an internal display connection commonly used between a computer board and a built-in screen. It matters because this display needs a matching eDP connector and support on the host board, so it will not plug into a normal HDMI-only output.
- HDMI
- HDMI is a common digital video and audio connection used by computers, media players, and many displays. If a display kit has HDMI input, it is usually much easier to test with a single-board computer because it can act like a normal monitor.
- I2C
- I2C is a two-wire communication bus used by many sensors and small modules. It matters because several I2C devices can share the same two wires, but each device needs a compatible address and your controller must support I2C.
- IPS
- IPS is a type of LCD panel that keeps colours and contrast more consistent when viewed from an angle. This matters for small displays that may be mounted in a dashboard, handheld project, or enclosure where the viewer is not always looking straight on.
- LCM luminance
- LCM luminance is the brightness of the liquid crystal display module, usually measured in candelas per square metre. It helps you judge whether the screen will be easy to read in the lighting conditions where your project will be used.
- Multi-touch
- Multi-touch means the touchscreen can detect more than one finger contact at the same time. This matters for interfaces that use gestures such as pinch-to-zoom, two-finger scrolling, or on-screen controls used together.
- Transmittance
- Transmittance describes how much light passes through the display or touch panel layers. Higher transmittance can make the screen appear brighter or clearer for the same backlight power.
