This 7.5" fully laminated e-paper display features 800×480 resolution in black and white with an anti-glare toughened glass panel. The full lamination makes the panel thinner while providing better protection, and the anti-glare glass reduces ambient light interference and reflective glare for clearer images.
Communicating via SPI interface, this bare display (without PCB) is designed for integration into custom projects. It includes back tape for flexible mounting and comes with development resources for Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, Arduino, and STM32.
Key Features
- Fully Laminated Panel – Thinner design with toughened glass protection
- Anti-Glare Glass – Reduces reflections for improved readability
- 800×480 Resolution – Sharp black-and-white display
- Ultra-Wide Viewing Angle – Over 170° for clear visibility from any direction
- Ultra-Low Power – Power required only during refresh; image persists without power
- SPI Interface – Compatible with a wide range of microcontrollers
- Without PCB – Bare display for custom integration with back tape included
- Multi-Platform Support – Examples for Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, Arduino, and STM32

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- ESP32
- ESP32 is a family of microcontroller modules with built-in wireless features such as Bluetooth and WiFi. Knowing this product uses an ESP32-based module helps explain how it provides wireless serial communication and firmware update features.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
- Shield
- An add-on board that plugs into a main controller board to give it extra features such as sensing, motor control or communication. Knowing a product supports shields helps you judge whether it can connect neatly into an existing maker-board setup.
- SPI
- A fast serial communication bus often used for displays, memory cards, and sensors. It matters because SPI devices need specific pins for clock and data, plus a separate chip-select line for each device.
- STM32
- STM32 is a family of microcontroller chips commonly used in embedded electronics. Knowing a product uses an STM32 can help when looking at firmware updates, pin connections, or low-level serial control options.
